The mission of Alameda County Meals on Wheels (ACMOW) is to enable frail elders to maintain their independence at home by providing them with high quality, nutritious meals that are cost effective, prepared in Alameda County, delivered by caring drivers and administered by local community organizations.
We support homebound elders to maintain their health and dignity, and to live independently in the comfort and security of their own homes. Our primary service population is senior citizens aged 85 and older.
Meeting community nutrition needs through programs for people living with HIV/AIDS, the homebound critically ill, and seniors.
